Laura Marano gave the most WONDERful performance at this summer camp

We've always known that Laura Marano is one of the sweetest celebs out there, but what she did for some fans last week is one of the best things we've heard in a while.

Instead of enjoying her summer and hitting up the beach, Laura took the time to hit up a summer camp, but it wasn't just your typical sleepaway shtick. She visited Camp Wonder, a week-long summer program for kids with serious (and sometimes fatal) skin diseases where they can hang out, play, craft, ride horses, go swimming, attend their own prom and just generally have an awesome, normal camp experience—all with other kids who understand what it's like to be sick or look a little different.

Camp Wonder gives kids and teens ages 7-16 the chance to get away from bullies (or just stares from otherwise well-meaning people who don't get it) and have fun, all while giving them access to the medical professionals and treatment they need. This year, Camp Wonder decided to make things extra special by bringing in a celebrity performer for the yearly talent show.

That special performer? None other than Austin & Ally's Laura, who came in to sing and play piano for the crowd. She also took the time to give out hugs and sign autographs for some very special fans.

We're so touched that Laura took the time to perform for kids who might not feel comfortable seeing her in concert, and that she made the extra effort to brighten their days and their stays at camp.

Have you taken time out of your schedule to be kind to others? Tell us about the good karma you've racked up in the comments below.
