Last April, my BFF kissed my boyfriend. I was so upset with my BF, but I never said anything to my friend. Now I find myself wishing i could go back in time to tell her how I felt. I think if I brought it up now, she would think I was a baby for holding on to it so long. What do I do?

BFF Fix-It: When bad stuff happens, it always seems easier to push it away and then try to deal with it later. But in this case, when you decide to deal with the situation months later, it can be difficult to discuss. Don’t get me wrong, it was definitely bad for her to do anything with your boyfriend—you guys were in a committed relationship and she should have respected that. 

The tricky part is that she might have taken your silence on the subject as acceptance of what happened, meaning that she thought she didn’t have to apologize to you. Talk to your friend about it and ask for an apology, tell her how you really feel. It always helps to talk things out.
