You and your bestie are super-close. You guys tell each other everything. The problem is that when you tell her your secrets, she never keeps ‘em! You feel bad because you love your friend, but you just can’t trust her 'cause she’ll tell everyone your secrets!

My chica and I are really close and I tell her ALL of my secrets. I love her but she tells everyone the private things that are supposed to be kept between me and her! I’m so angry. I’m thinking about “breaking it off” with her 'cause I can’t trust her!

BFF Fix-it: You need to politely call-out your pal on what she's doing. Just say something like, “When I tell you something personal, it’s because I trust you, but when you tell everyone, it’s embarrassing and it hurts me.” Explain to your friend that you want to share everything with her, but you feel like you have to hold things back from her so you don’t get hurt. Give examples of secrets she has told you that you have never told anyone before. That way she will see that you respect her and you don’t spread personal info to everyone. Ask her to do the same for you.
