Why spin is the heart-pumping workout you've always dreamed of
Spin has taken over the workout world, and after seeing social media influencers post about it and watching classes fill up at your local gym, you might be asking yourself what all the hype is all about. Here are three reasons to check it out.
You can go at your own pace
Have you ever gone running and felt out of breath, tired and weak after just a few minutes? Spin classes aim to push you, but how hard you go is all up to you. Whether you're looking to break a sweat or just have fun, you can decide for yourself—it's not a race!
The music is usually ridic
According to spin instructor Kate Hickl, the music is the most important part of a spin class. "In every class, there's going to be a 22-year-old and a 65-year-old, so I make sure there's something for everyone," Hickl says. The right music can push you through a workout you never thought you'd finish!
Inclusivity is key
If you've ever gone to a spin class, you know that positive energy is all around you. The instructors and riders are very supportive of every person, body type and fitness level. We *love* a workout that welcomes everyone!
If you're in the market for a workout that gets your blood pumping, heart racing and has a *great* playlist to keep you motivated, give a spin class a try!
