Sweets for the sweet
My BGF came over one night while I was babysitting a bunch
of my younger cousins at a family reunion. Everyone began getting food and
dessert and I was starving, but never said anything because I was so occupied
with all of the toddlers running around.
While I was making sure the kids shared and didn’t shove small object in their mouths, my friend told me he was going to go the restroom and would be right back. Later, just as I was ready to pull my hair out, he came in with a piece of cake. On it, he had spelled out, “I think I love you,” in pink frosting.
We’ve been together ever since—two and a half years!
