Borrowed From Boys

You don’t need a BF to wear guy-inspired pieces.
They add boyish charm to everything ya own, but (surprise!) look best with your girliest getups.
Here’s how to wear our fave menswear musts!
The BF blazer is a great layering piece and a fab alternative to jackets and cardis. It’s less fitted on the sides and a little longer than your average blazer. Dress it up with a pretty skirt or dress it down with your fave pair of skinny jeans. Accessorize with sparkly studs and a printed scarf.

A crisp, button down shirt adds polish to any outfit. Look for pretty pinstripes or cool gingham checks. Wear it with leggings and a pair of flat boots or colorful pumps. Pile on bangles and a belt to complete the look.

Swap out your beloved skinnies for a pair of slouchy, guy-inspired jeans. The fit is more relaxed, which makes for a more casual vibe. Distressed details give them a rugged touch. To keep the jeans from looking sloppy, add a fitted v-neck and layer with a cardi.  Top it off with a girly statement headband and dainty ballet flats. At night, they'll look pretty with a sparkly tank and heels.

There’s nothing like a cute and comfy pair of flats. Instead of slipping on ballerinas, try a sleek pair of oxfords. The black and white colors stand out in a sea of heels and sneakers. Rock them with a colored top, flowy skirt, and knee- high socks.

OK, so you can’t exactly nab a dude’s purse, but a military messenger bag comes pretty close. It’s big enough to lug school supplies in or everything you’d need for a day of shopping. So stylin’ with a floral dress and brown chunky heels.
