Halloween means it's time to coordinate costumes with your bestie, natch. But wait—running out of ideas that you *actually* agree on? Trust us, we've all been there. But have no fear: Here are 14 adorable costumes that you and your bestie will love. These looks will be sure to turn heads this Halloween.

Carebears

We all know and love them from our childhood—but who could've predicted that they'd made a comeback as an adorable costume?! All you'll need for this one is a solid-colored shirt based on the Carebear you choose. Then, you and your bestie can have a decorating party to make your bear's design to tape onto your shirt! The nostalgia = so real.  

Milk and cookies

Who *doesn't* love milk and cookies? Dressing up as the most classic duo ever will send the message to the world that you and your BFF are just about inseparable. All you'll need is to wear all white if you're milk and a DIY cookie costume. This costume is just about the definition of wholesome. 

Wednesday and Enid

There's a reason that Wednesday took the world by storm. From the spooky vibes and cliffhangers to the addicting dance (IYKYK), this show is amaze. That's why we're in love with this costume! Grab the Enid to your Wednesday—or the Wednesday to your Enid—and dress up just like the characters. For this costume, just remember that Enid's all about bright colors while Wednesday wears all black. And don't forget to get into character for the pics (you might have to practice the classic Wednesday stare)!

Spongebob and Patrick

Spongebob and Patrick = the definition of BFFs. Take a walk down memory lane to dress up as the cartoon characters of everyone's childhood. If you're Patrick, wear salmon, green and purple and if you're Spongebob, wear yellow of course! Just don't forget his classic bow tie.

Buzz and Woody

Dressing up as Buzz and Woody is a cute reminder that your BFF truly does have a friend in you! Woody calls for the ultimate cowboy fit. (Cowboy boots? A cowboy hat? Yes, pls!) Buzz calls for buttons and wings. Trust us, these costumes are *so* Insta-worthy.

Can you name a better power duo? These two continue to prove that you can really do it all right alongside your bestie. We're big fans of their Grammys fits from 2016—grab sparkly blue gown to channel Sel vibes, plus an orange and fuschia two-piece for Tay.

The Gilmore Girls

If you're on the search for a simple costume choice, look no further than our fave mother-and-daughter duo, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore. Tbh, you can probably find this costume within your own closet (think: denim shorts, pink tie-dye top and cowboy boots for Lorelai, plaid school uniform for Rory).

The Powerpuff Girls

The perf choice for a trio of besties, The Powerpuff Girls are a staple when it comes to group costumes. Each girl has their own aesthetic, so you and your besties will have to decide who is more like Bubbles or Buttercup or Blossom.

Max and Eleven 

These two have been through a lot, to say the least, throughout the past four seasons of Stranger Things. Dressing as Max and Eleven can bring you back to one of the most bold and colorful decades of fashion. You can either select outfits that Max and Eleven have worn onscreen or go for those throwback vibes by picking looks inspired by the '80s. Think side ponytails, neon leggings, off-the-shoulder tops and lots of retro patterns. 

Batman and Robin

Batman and Robin: the classic superhero and sidekick pairing we just can't get enough of. With this duo, it might be hard to decide who gets to be Batman (this might require a friendly game of rock, paper, scissors), but the two characters both shine in their own special ways.

Daphne and Velma

There's no mystery Daphne and Velma can't solve, so if you and your BFF are always investigating something, this might be the right pick for you. Maybe you love discussing the Easter eggs in the newest Taylor Swift music video or you're trying to get to the bottom of why your current crush won't text you back––whatever it may be, channel that energy into this wonderful throwback of a costume.

Not everyone can play the role of the hero—and when it comes to Halloween, you can really go for it and dress as an iconic villainy duo. Don't forget the cherry lips and smudged eyeliner.
