BabyLit? Please, we want ALL of these illustrated classics for "kids"
I’m a sucker for children’s books, but the ones I covet are typically the same hardbacks I read over and over again when I was a tater tot. But one jaunt past these adorable titles perched in a local bookstore window had me tripping over the doorstep so I could take a closer peek. Trust me, they’re just as cute as they look.
BabyLit by publisher Gibbs-Smith has been around for a few years (and I’m demanding answers as to why it has failed to come to my attention until now). I highly recommending following their blog, which is updated regularly with new illustrations, totally perfect for a mini “aww!” moment to perk up your Monday morning.
And an especially special bonus? The line doesn’t just feature books. Yep, that’s right. You can get cute little Alice in Wonderland- and Pride and Prejudice-themed playsets as well as totes, buttons and prints. Um. Why is my birthday so far away? Le sigh.
