Emotions - An original poem

Hey sweethearts! Here’s an original poem about heartbreak, written by a GL reader just like you. Please leave your critiques in the comments.

“Emotions”

Emotions
Messing with my head
Confusion
Wishing I hadn't gotten out of bed.

I swear, I'm fine.
I don't need you to help me out.
The stars will align
Everything will work out.

Right now
It might seem that it's falling apart
Right now
It feels like you're breaking my heart

You're a storm to my clear day,
parts of me just slipping away.

You're fighting for your right to do nothing
And you say you'll leave, but you're bluffing.

You like me but not enough to stay,
You love me but not enough to go away

Emotions
Muddled in my brain
Anger

You're coming back again.
