How to *actually* get stuff done when you're tired

Picture this: You get home from a looong day of tests, note-taking and socializing, absolutely exhausted. All you want to do is curl up into a ball in bed, and we wouldn't blame you. But the one prob? That terrifyingly long to-do list hanging over you. Filled with HW,  studying and those other random tasks (like doing laundry or writing holiday thank you cards), getting stuff done is the last thing you'd want to be doing.

If this is your reality? Don't worry, we've got you covered with nearly magical ways to give your productivity a much-needed boost *even* on those extra sleepy days.

Get moving

Even just a few mins of movement can be a total gamechanger when it comes to your energy levels. Whether you go for a refreshing jog or opt for an energizing yoga vid, you'll feel rejuvenated and ready to face all those to-dos after some movement.

Take a cool shower

We know, we know. This sounds kinda terrifying. But trust us when we say that moment of standing under freezing cold water is *so* worth it. Even if it's just a quick rinse-off, the chill of a cold shower can wake you right up.

Use essential oils

Believe it or not, certain scents can give you that extra energy boost you need! Try popping some peppermint into a diffuser or rubbing tea tree oil on your pressure points (think: wrists and back of your neck). And if you don't have essential oils handy? Have no fear! From hand cream to a scented hand sanitizer, you can get creative with how you use scents to wake up.

Study with a friend

Friends = instant motivators. Grab your bestie for a study sesh. You'll be each other's cheerleaders, encouraging each other to keep pushing through everything you need to do, even when it gets tough. Bc if there's anyone who can motivate you to study the most, it's your closest pal.

Listen to music

It's true—if there's one thing that can instantly wake you up, it's jamming out to your fave songs. Make a playlist filled with your fave pump-up songs specifically for those times you need an extra boost. And if you dance along between tasks? Even better.

Take breaks

Taking breaks is absolutely imperative to staying productive *especially* on those extra sleepy days. There are tons of helpful YouTube vids that break up your time for you so you don't have to worry about knowing when to take a break. And if you aren't sure what to do during those breaks?
