2016 has been one heck of a ride, especially in the "more-than-friends" world, with celeb breakups, engagements and *tons* of rumors. We know, life is always harder in the spotlight—but there are still couples both on TV and IRL that definitely make the list for *best* couples of the year. Continue reading to see who our fave pairs of 2016 were:

Jesse & Becky
An oldie, but a goodie. In the new show Fuller House, we get to see how their love only grows over time. 

Steve & Nancy
These two characters from Stranger Things are too adorable on-screen, They really show us what true teen love is like.

The Joker & Harley Quinn
What a couple—they are one in the same. They’ll do anything that they want, when they want. And when they’re together, they practically take over the world.

Austin Butler & Vanessa Hudgens
This dynamic duo does everything together. From sports games to adventures, they have accomplished *so* much this year.

Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani
We could all tell these two were into each other since Gwen joined The Voice crew, and now they are proving that they really are a perfect match.

 

Zayn Malik & Gigi Hadid
These two lovebirds are the definition of #goals. They look absolutely perfect together and you can really see how much they care about each other.

 

Jace Norman & Isabela Moner
Although they are just friends now, they made 2016 as cute as can be. We'll miss them, but they proved that ending their relationship does *not* mean they can't be friends anymore.
