How to cope with jealous feelings

 

She has everything you want...and can't have. She's pretty, popular and well, you're just her sidekick friend. If truth be told, you're startin' to feel totally jealy. So how do ya deal? 

First off, it's only natural.

A little jealousy is perfectly natural. But a lot of jealousy can poison friendships. Take a deep breath, and try to be happy for them. Try to include yourself more and get involved. Maybe suggest a sleepover at your place and invite the girls to crash.

Get some one-on-one time in.

If you feel you need some one-on-one time with any of them, it’s OK to confess your feelings. But next time you get hung up about any of this, remember that time might change this relationship anyway. So do your best to stay friends with everyone.

 

Find your own hobby.

Turn your negative feelings into something fun and positive. Concentrate on doing something you love like making a craft or getting involved in an after-school play. Remember, jealousy is temporary. It will be forgotten when you bury yourself into something you really like to do. 

Confidence is everything.

Gain some confidence, girl! Keep that chin up, look in the mirror and be proud of yourself body and soul. It's important to embrace and love yourself and to ditch those feelings of jealousy to the curb.
