Throw the *coolest* ice cream social with these tips

Summer is all about spending time with your besties, lounging on swan floats in the pool...and of course, eating all the ice cream. But you don't have to enjoy every girl's fave frozen treat by yourself. Invite your girls over for a next-level ice cream social the next time you want to beat the heat. All you need is our inspo below and a few pints of your favorite flavors to throw the *sweetest* soiree around.

Have every flavor of your favorite ice cream. This may include chocolate, cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, vanilla, strawberry etc. Try out some crazy ones, too (peanut butter and jelly, anyone?).

Use mason jars for toppings such as Reese's cups, M&M's, sprinkles, Oreos, marshmallows crunchy peanut butter and coconut flakes. The more, the better and don't forget the sauces (caramel, hot fudge, strawberry).

Get creative with your cones. Offer a choice of waffle or sugar cones. You can even dip the cones in chocolate sauce and sprinkles, then put in the fridge overnight to harden.

Make your own choloate chip cones. Because the only thing better than eating ice cream is eating it out of what's basically a chocolate chip cookie. Yum.

If your friends would rather have bowls, buy a fun set of cute colorful ice cream bowls. This is less messy and will make you feel like you're at your fave fro-yo shop.

Decorate with cone balloons. Fold brown pieces of paper into a cone shape and tape them together. Then, blow up balloons and tape the cones to the balloon. If you plan on hanging them, make sure that the tied top of the balloons are facing up.

Plan some themed games for your friends to play. We recommend one called friendship ice cream cone throw (it's basically like tic tac toe!). Each friend chooses which color ball they will be and takes a turn trying to toss it in the cone. The first one to get three of the same color in a row or diagonal wins.

Pin the cherry on the ice cream cone. This is a *cool* take on the classic party game that your friends will definitely love.
