College acceptance letters are *officially* in, and you've secured a spot at one of your top choices (congrats, bb!). What better way to celebrate your big win than by hosting an amaze get-together? If you ask, we say it's the perfect way to mark this exciting milestone.

1. Set the date (and guest list)

Start by creating a guest list of your closest friends and fam who’ve supported you throughout college app szn! Then, plan the big event on a weekend that works out for each of you. Consider hosting it the week after you get your college acceptance news for an extra exciting atmosphere.

Pro tip: Send out cute digital invites with your college name and colors on it (or, keep it top secret by *only* using school colors that hint at your choice). Need help getting started? Canva has tons of invite templates to choose from.

2. Go for a school-inspired theme

Show off your school spirit with a fab theme inspired by your college's colors! Once you've got the color scheme down, snag some balloons, streamers, banners and posters featuring your school's logo or mascot for that extra oomph. Bonus: if you're sticking close to home for college, head to Walmart for school swag (think: flags, hats and crewnecks) to rock during the party.

If not, try your local craft stores and grab supplies to DIY your own school merch. Remember: You can rock that school swag all over again when you head off to campus! 

3. Don't forget the snacks

No celebration is complete without some tasty treats! Customized cookies, cupcakes or a cake inspired by your school colors are the *perfect* way to honor your future college—snack-wise, ofc. Be sure to stock up on color-coded chips, popcorn and candy for some extra flair. Set up a snack bar overflowing with these delish snacks and you're golden!
