Tbh, it's impossible to contain our excitement about season four of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Of course, we're pretty bummed that it's the final season—but we also can't wait for everything in store. It's no secret that season three left off on a wild and exciting note, so it's time to buckle up, Wildcats! From the new cast members to a binge-worthy plot, here are four things we're especially looking forward to! 

1. The amaze new cast members

Although Olivia Rodrigo might not have as much screen time because of her busy music career (*sigh*), we still have some good news: Loads of new amaze actors are joining the cast—including GL cover star Kylie Cantrall! Plus, Matthew Sato, Caitlin Reilly and Vasthy Mompoint will join the HSMTMTS fam, too.

2. Exciting romance

It's no secret that things left off on a rather ~spicy~ note in season three, when Ricky and Gina shared a romantic kiss. The cliffhanger ending of last season leaves us wondering what's in store for the *adorable* new couple. And btw, can we talk about how much Big Red and Ashlyn are absolute relationship goals?

3. The original HSM cast

As if things couldn't get any better, loads of our fave actors from the OG HSM movies will make an appearance. Wondering what familiar faves to expect to see? Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Kaycee Stroh, Bart Johnson and Alyson Reed are all playing themselves in season four. And what's more meta than that?

It's no secret that every song from HSM is an absolute bop, so we're pretty ecstatic about the fact that this season includes songs from the third movie (which has some of the best tunes), natch. While we don't know exactly what songs to expect, we do know that from the iconic "I Want it All" to the emotional "Walk Away," the whole movie soundtrack is a whole vibe. And btw, we can't forget about the original HSMTMTS tunes that are always amaze.
