Sleep Scare

Up ‘til the wee hours? You might want to think twice before going to bed after midnight.

Boston.com recently reported that teens who hit the sack in the wee hours are more likely to be depressed than their peers who go to bed before 10 p.m. Even scarier? Kids whose parents allow them to stay up super-late were 20-percent more likely to have thoughts about suicide.

Even if your ‘rents let ya watch Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, consider winding down around 9 p.m. and getting to bed within the hour. Teens need 8+ hours of sleep each and every night—so make it happen!
