Madison Taylor Baez is here to share her voice (and oh-so-much more)

At just nine years old, we're always blown away by Madison Taylor Baez's voice. As the young star of Netflix's Selena, Madison is already making it big. So we shouldn't have been surprised at all when it was revealed that she is the newest performer on Fremantle's Game of Talents. Check out a clip of her reveal:

Madison's life already seems to mirror that of her famous alter ego, as she and Selena both began singing at age three. Madison began her career singing the National Anthem across the country, blowing away audiences with her voice. Though she is young, she is powerful.

We sat down with this star-powered singer to chat all things singing, acting and future plans. (Oh—and also some of her faves, ofc!).

Girls' Life: Tell us about your time on Game of Talents.

Madison Baez: It was so amazing, the stage was so big, and I was on a platform too, which was really cool. I got to meet everyone (even Wayne Brady!) and the whole thing was just great.

GL: You've got a great voice! How long have you been singing?

MB: I've been singing since I was three years old. I used to go into my dad's iTunes and listen to all the songs from the great years of Motown. I just really love to share my voice with the world and make other people feel happy, you know?

GL: So you're on Netlfix, too, as Young Selena in Selena. Tell us everything!

MB: Selena is this fun-loving girl who leads the family band. And she keeps everyone together through any family struggle throughout her success in music. She goes on to become this huge star and amazing role model for everyone. And for me—she is just such a role model. She is an amazing person and such a strong person, no matter what she does.

Maddie's current faves

Fave T.V. Show: Henry Danger

Fave song: Perm by Bruno Mars

Fave hobby: Painting and cooking

Fave dish: My homemade Adobo!

GL:  So that moment when you're on stage, right before you're about to start singing, what's going through your head?

MB: Honestly? I'm usually just revisiting all of the things I'll be singing and just making sure that I have everything right. I'm mentally preparing myself to be out there. I'm always excited!

GL: And looking to the future ahead of you, what are some of your biggest dreams and goals?

MB: Well, I really hope with my singing I can start to put out some more albums. And with my acting, I hope to work more T.V. shows and movies, too!

GL: And if you could co-star with *anyone,* who would it be?

MB: That's a tough one! I'm a huge Marvel fan, so I would have to say anyone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love them all!
