Here's what the star of Kim Possible wants you to know about the brand new movie

The original voice of Kim Possible gave Sadie her blessing!

Sadie Stanley. The name has a nice, alliterative ring to it, right? It's probably isn't one that you recognize, though. But after the premiere of Kim Possible (tonight at 8 p.m. EST on Disney Channel), that'll def change.

Based on the hit animated series, the live-action DCOM follows Kim and best friend/sidekick Ron Stoppable as they embark on their freshman year of high school. HS is hard enough as it is, but Kim and Ron, along with the rest of Team Possible—Kim, Ron, Wade (Issac Ryan Brown)Athena (Ciara Riley Wilson) and Rufus, a naked mole-rat that Ron befriends—must also deal with villains Drakken and Shego lurking in the wings, ready to take over the world at any second.

Sounds action-packed and amaze, no? Here's what else the up-and-coming star of the flick wants you to know about it.

She watched the original series when she was a kid

"When I first heard they were making this movie, I was so excited," Sadie, 17, says. "I'm a little bit young for the show, but I used to watch reruns of it when I was a kid, and when I got further and further into the audition process I watched more and more episodes, and by the end of it, it became one of my favorite shows."

Peep Sadie as Kim and Sean Giambrone as Ron at Bueno Nacho, the crew's go-to hangout from the original animated series!

Sadie was so committed to playing Kim that she even dyed her hair

"I had never done anything to my hair before, but when I found out that I was going to have to dye it, I was actually really excited," Sadie says. "I was also kind of nervous, obviously, because I was like 'What if I don't look good as a redhead?!' But surprisingly things looked super natural—but that's probably because they dyed my eyebrows, too...which was a weird experience. If you've ever had your eyebrows bleached, you know what I mean."

The original voice of Kim gave her Sadie her blessing

Chrissy Carlson Romano, the voice of Kim from the original series, also encouraged Sadie to make the character her own. "She didn't make me feel pressured to act a certain way or mimic her. I really had freedom to do what I wanted while still taking inspo from how she portrayed Kim in the cartoon." Pssst! Keep your eyes peeled for Chrissy's cameo in the movie. "I can't say much about her role, but her character is *so* fun."

Sadie and Sean spent most of their time between takes singing Ariana Grande and eating

Can you say #relatable?! "Nobody could've played Ron better than Sean," Sadie says of The Goldbergs star. "He embodies Ron so fully and so completely. He is such a talent. We had so much fun on set, too. We were constantly singing Ariana Grande and Britney Spears in between takes. And when we weren't singing we were at crafty eating or messing with our director."
