Dear Carol, 

I played an online game and gave this random boy my Instagram. He sent me a picture of his you-know-what! That scared me so much. Any ideas to help me get over it?

Ugh. I'm sorry this happened and am not surprised that it scared you. How awful that he was so inappropriate and rude. First, block him (and make your account private). Then, the best way to get through this is to just keep living your life. Don't berate yourself, but be more careful online and tell an adult if you still feel unsafe. Unfortunately, some so-called random boys are actually predatory men.
