This fun reindeer workout will keep you in shape over break

 

Don’t let the extra Christmas cookies weigh you down. These speedy workouts will bust stress, burn calories and keep your spirits up throughout the holidays. Try a different one each day to feel awesome from now until 2016.

 

Dasher

Dash away with some sprints. Jog for 1 minute and 30 seconds, and then sprint for 30 seconds. Repeat for 10-20 minutes. 

Dancer

Shake it off with a fun Zumba class. Head to a local Y (or even just bring up a YouTube video) to dance yourself fit.

Prancer

Take a jog. Put on some layers and take a run around your neighborhood. New to jogging? Don't be afraid to mix in some walking while you're at it.

Vixen

Get squatting. Try 50 squats (break them into sets of 10) and a one-minute wall sit. Repeat if you dare.

Comet

Today, it's all about jumping rope. See how many times you can jump without losing your balance. Can you get to 50? 100?

Cupid

Put on the Cupid Shuffle and get your groove on. Teach your parents how to do the Cupid Shuffle for a fun way to burn some extra cals. Plus, there’s a remix that’s sure to get you sweating. 

Donner

Here’s a secret: Donner is a derivative of the German word for thunder. Try an unconventional workout and challenge your BFFs to a DIY obstacle course.

Blitzen

Blitzen means lightning, so get ready for some fast fee.! Meet up with some of your friends and do a relay race. Fastest one wins...and the slowest has to make everyone a peppermint mocha. 

Rudolph

Stretch it out! If you’ve been following this workout regimen, you’re bound to be sore. Put on your favorite tunes and stretch out those aching muscles.
