We've all heard about the benefits of meditation, from de-stressing to glowy skin. But, let's be honest, it's pretty intimidating. Like how do you actually do it? And is chanting really necessary?
You *can* meditate anywhere (in the car, waiting for your mom after school, at the gym) but having a space where you go to relax helps. Create a meditation corner in your room—think plush floor cushions, natural lighting and, of course, calming candles. There's nothing better than a candle to set the mood...and it turns out which you light can make a serious difference in your practice. Don't fret about meditating perfectly or think too much about your thoughts. Just let go and try to be in the moment...without, you know, worrying if you're in the moment.
