#1. Getting to wear those cute new duds you begged Mom for. Graphic tees with sassy slogans and shorts in seriously sweet colors? Yeah, baby, who's looking good now?
#2. The easy GPA boost. Let's face it, how hard is it to show up, play badminton for a half hour and then change your clothes? Er, not that hard.
#3. Wowing the guys with your surprisingly awesome volleyball serve. This girl's got game! Bonus: You get to watch 'em show off during your downtime. And they are So. Darn. Cute.
#4. Hanging with your hunnies. It's not a full-on gossip sesh--we get it, Teach!--but gym class does give you a few minutes here and there to partner up with your pals and shoot the breeze.
#5. The mental downtime. After busting your brain in Advanced Algebra, Anatomy and Honors English, you need a period that's no thinking, just doing. And if the doing involves dodgball? Sigh, so be it.
