My field hockey team's skirts are held on by buttons. Of course during the first game I noticed that mine had no buttons, and that I had no choice but to use a safety pin to hold it up. It was our school rival so everybody was there. I was on the field all ready to go and right at the beginning of the game the ball started heading down my end of the field, so I charged the ball and as I began to fight the opponent for the ball my skirt began to fall off. Everyone noticed it. It kept falling and I kept having to pull it up because of this my playing was being effected so I had no choice but to just whip it off and play in my spandex that was underneath! Everyone on the sidelines started whooping and cheering and laughing...it was terrible! (We won the game though!)
