Last year I had a crush on a guy who found out and politely let me know he didn't like me back. One day right after that, though, my mom, who still picks out my clothes, pulled out a plaid shirt for me to wear to school. I didn't think much of it. But when I was walking into school, I saw my crush and his friends all wearing plaid shirts. One of them turned around, looked at me, and said something to the others, and then they were all looking at me like I was crazy. They must have planned it, and I had no idea!
