So after school, my friend and I like to hang out by the basketball
courts and chat. It's also where my crush plays basketball after school. One day, my friend and I were
sitting down nearby, when the ball came rolling toward us. He yelled,
"Hey Emma, could you grab that?" And knowing that I don't have the best
coordination, I meant to whisper to my friend that I can't throw.
Instead, I accidentally shouted, "I SUCK AT THINGS!" as I threw the
ball. I was mortified.He gave me the weirdest look and continued to
