Fruity Jello

Got a crush who's not a chocoholic? Have a BFF who fancies fruit more than marshmallow brownies? Our Fruity Jello V-Day treats take a twist on the typical chocolate and candy goodies that cupid usually doles out.

What You'll Need:

3 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
1 cup cold, red fruit juice
2 1/2 cups of the same juice
1 12 cups fresh strawberries, sliced thin
1 heart shaped cookie cutter

What You'll Do:

1. Have a 9x13-inch baking pan ready.
2. In the saucepan, heat the 2 1/2 cups of juice until it starts to boil. Remove from heat.
3. Meanwhile, sprinkle the gelatin into the cup of cold juice and let sit a minute.
4. Carefully pour the hot juice into the large pan. Add the gelatin juice and stir in with a whisk until well mixed.
5. Add the fruit pieces and carefully place on a level spot in the refrigerator.  Chill for at least two hours. Cut out heart shapes with a cookie cutter. If you like, top with whipped cream and a berry.
