Are you smart enough to guess the Oreos mystery flavor?
When it comes to variety, Oreos have pretty much nailed it—there's been everything from lemon to birthday cake to pumpkin pie. And now there's a new cookie on the shelf, just in time for Halloween. But we have no idea what it is. No, seriously—it's a mystery flavor.
And Oreos is giving away $50,000 to one lucky winner who correctly guesses the flavor (you can enter HERE). One of the GL editors put the cookies to the taste test...and her Oreo-obsessed expert opinion? "It tastes like a cross between Fruity Pebbles and Froot Loops." Others on social media have suggested Swedish Fish, too.
Whether or not you're brave enough to pick up a package for yourself, we've got another way to eat more Oreos (as if you needed help doing that!) this Halloween. Peep the steps to making these sweet spiders below.
Ingredients:
- Oreos
- Pretzel sticks
- Candy corn
- Marshmallows
- Black frosting
Directions:
1. Break 4 pretzel sticks in half to create 8 legs. Gently press them into the cream of the cookie.
2. Take 2 pieces of candy corn and break off just the white part. Insert them at the front of the cookie (these will be the teeth).
3. Press 2 marshmallows flat and use a bit of frosting to "glue" them to the top of the Oreo. Then make eyes with a dot of black frosting.
