Taco Dip

Feelin’ hot, hot, hot this summer? The sizzlin’ dip is super cool. Prepare is ahead of time for a little girlfriend get together or throw it all together last minute for an afternoon snack. Either way, its creamy goodness will leave you surprisingly satisfied.

One package shredded cheddar cheese
One container of bean dip
2 tomatoes chopped
1 can black olives, drained
One onion chopped
1 ripe avocado, thinly sliced
One small container of sour cream
1/2 pound hamburger meat
Taco seasoning

In a small bowl combine sour cream and taco seasoning. Allow this to sit in the refrigerator. In a medium skillet brown the hamburger meat, allow it to cool completely. Using a glass baking dish add a thick layer of bean dip follow by a layer of the sour cream mixture. Add in a layer of avocado, tomato and onion and a layer of meat. Continue layering until the baking dish is about half an inch from being full. Layer the top with shredded cheddar cheese.  Use pita bread or tortilla chips for dipping.
