BananaBerry Breakfast Smoothie

 

Looking for a yummy and quick pick me up? Bust out the blender for a simple and sweet treat. The yogurt packs a lot of bone friendly calcium and the fruit and granola will give you that healthy kick in the pants to get your morning moving.
 
 
Ingredients:

 
1 container vanilla, non-fat yogurt
1 cup Orange Juice
1 frozen banana, cut into pieces for easier blended
*1 cup frozen mixed berries (can be purchased in bulk from grocery stores)
1 package of organic granola
 
* Any fruit can be added.
 
Directions:
Peel and slice a banana. Wrap it in plastic wrap and leave in freezer over night. In a blender add yogurt and orange juice. Blend for 5 seconds. Add bananas and mixed fruit, blend until smooth. In a large cup layer the smoothie mixture with a layer of granola, then eat with a spoon.
