Make your old sneakers *fab* with this DIY

Looking for a new way to spice up your old sneakers? Try this tie-dye DIY that will upgrade any basic jean outfit instantly.

You'll need:

- White canvas shoes
- Sharpie permanent markers
- 91% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
- Medicine dropper
- Paper towel
- White vinegar (optional)

Directions:

1. Start by using the Sharpie colors of your choice to decorate your shoes. Be creative and keep in mind how the colors will come out once they blend.

2. Next, lay a plastic bag with paper towel on top and place your shoes on the towel. This will prevent the colors staining whatever surface you are working on. Pour some of the alcohol in the dropper and start putting drops of alcohol on the colors. This will make the colors spread and blend into each other. The more alcohol you apply, the more the colors run. White vinegar can be used to set the colors in case the colors start to run onto the rubber parts of your shoe. You can also use tape to cover the parts you dont want to be stained.

 3. Leave the shoes to dry.
