She's got an amaze group of besties and the *perf* internship lined up for the summer, but when her dad gets caught up in a political scandal, everything comes crashing down. Her dad—who had always been more of a stranger than a father—comes home and her internship is revoked. Even though this is a long book, the summery vibes and lovable characters will have you hooked.

This book was originally a Wattpad story, but it was so good that it got published. Goody two-shoes Jackie all of a sudden has to move from New York City to a Colorado ranch when her family dies in a car accident. The Walters, who are old family friends of her mother, take Jackie in. The twist? The Walters have eleven sons that Jackie has to learn to live with. This is a light, fast-paced read that follows Jackie as she navigates a new environment and finds romance along the way.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

Rainbow Rowell is known for her romance novels like Fangirl and Eleanor & Park, but have you read Carry On yet? In Fangirl, the main character writes fanfiction about a book series called Simon Snow, and Carry On is a deep dive into the fantasy world of Simon Snow. Simon is the Chosen One of the magical world, and Baz, who is a vampire, is his archnemesis at the Watford School of Magicks—until they start falling for each other. Full of sweet moments, Carry On is a fresh take on the enemies-to-lovers trope and reads like a contemporary romance set in a fantasy world.
