Percy Jackson fans rejoice: The newest book in the series is out now

Calling all demigods and bookworms alike: the newest Percy Jackson and the Olympians book is officially out on shelves, and tbh, we couldn't be more obsessed.

Percy Jackson's latest adventure takes place in Wrath of the Triple Goddess, the second book in the The Senior Year Adventures series. (ICYMI: author Rick Riordan's most recent PJO trilogy sees Percy, Annabeth and Grover going on a series of quests to acquire college letters of recommendation from the gods.)

In Wrath of the Triple Goddess, Percy is looking to get his second letter of recommendation—this time from Hecate, the goddess of magic and witchcraft, over the week of Halloween. (In other words, this book has *all* the spooky season vibes.) To get the letter, Percy and his friends must take care of her polecat and mastiff while she's away and absolutely not touch any of her potions. But with our fave trio in charge, mischief is sure to ensue.

Season two of Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians is currently in production, and according to news dropped at D23 2024, we'll be seeing new episodes sometime in 2025. Fans also got a first look at season two with a video featuring a Percy voiceover and a short clip of what appears to be the iconic chariot race scene.

There have been some pretty major casting announcements in the PJO-verse, too. The Gray Sisters will be played by Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho and Sandra Bernhard, while Tantalus will be played by Timothy Simons. Daniel Diemer has been announced as Tyson (Percy's Cyclops brother), and Tamara Smart will be starring as Thalia Grace (an old friend of Annabeth and Luke).
