Must List
Red (Taylor's Version) is officially here!
Cue *all* the belt-it-out moments, emotional car rides with AirPods in and, ofc, some tears—Red (Taylor's Version) is *finally* here. We're so here for Taylor's rerecorded albums because not only can we relive our fave tracks, but we can discover whole new amazing moments.
Here are some key highlights of this rerelease:
1. It's Taylor's second rerecorded album.
Instead of going in chronological order, Taylor decided to release Red (Taylor's Version) right after Fearless (Taylor's Version), which dropped last spring.
2. The album includes 30 songs...
"This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red," Taylor announced in an Instagram caption over the summer. We love a super long listen, tbh.
3. ...Including a ten-minute version of fan favorite "All Too Well".
Not going to lie, this one made us kinda freak out. You can listen to the ultra-long rerecord of the iconic breakup hit here, and it's seriously amazing so get ready.
4. This album means a *lot* to Taylor.
Taylor feels an extra special connection to this music—which makes sense, considering it's super personal and really gets in her feels. "Imagining your future might always take you on a detour back to the past," she said on Instagram, and we couldn't agree more (as long as going back to the past includes more Taylor albums...).
