Hold on to your pom poms: The five best cheer movies of all time

 

*Spirit fingers!* Who doesn't love a good cheerleading movie? Whether you're on the squad or in the stands, it's impossible to resist the drama and excitement of the cheer universe. We've rounded up the five best cheer movies out there (and no, they aren't ALL Bring It On sequels...).

    John Tucker Must Die

    John's the star of the basketball team. Kate's the pretty new cheerleader. It all seems like a cliche, but we promise it's anything but. (Bonus: Pre-Gossip Girl Penn Badgley. Now that is some hair.)

    Man of the House

    What do you get when you cross an undercover cop and a college cheerleading squad? A hilariously ridiculous full house. Miss Congeniality fans will love this 2005 flick.

    Bring It On

    You didn't seriously think we could do a cheer post without including BIO, did you? It's a cult classic for a reason. We're *still* cheering along with Kirsten and company.

    Bring It On: In It to Win It

    By far the best BIO sequel. The West Side Story-esque plot might be a little cheesy, but the cheer and dance sequences are totally incredible. Also, pre-PLL Ashley Benson is cracking us up as Carson.

    Nfinity Champions League

    Fictional cheerleading is obvi amazing, but you can't beat the real thing. This real-life national cheer competition has all the drama of Hollywood—and twice the talent. The best part? The sequel is coming out April 2 in cinemas, so you can catch it with your girls! CLICK HERE for more deets.
