Movie moms we'd love to have

Happy Mother’s Day! How are you spending the day with your leading lady? To celebrate, we’ve picked six movie moms we totes wouldn’t mind having (in addition to our own, of course). Do you agree?

Leigh Anne Tuohy: The Blind Side

In this flick based off a true story, Sandra Bullock plays the mom who adopts Michael Ore. Not only does she take him under her roof when he had nowhere else to go, but she helped inspire him to be a phenomenal football player, standing on the sideline for all his games.

Tess Coleman: Freaky Friday

Jamie Lee Curtis takes a step inside the teenage mind when her character has to live in her daughter’s body for a few days. This gives us no doubt she would completely understand where us kids are coming from, and maybe even cut us a break!

Elastigirl: The Incredibles

Ummm, how cool would it be to tell kids your mom used to save the world!? Plus, despite her awesome talents, this kick-butt chica also manages to keep the family tight as can be.

Mrs. Jumbo: Dumbo

It may be a while since you’ve seen this one, but Dumbo’s mama went to jail for him. She stood up for her son when others made fun of his large ears (wait, Dumbo has big ears?!) and ultimately paid the price.

Kate Baker: Cheaper by the Dozen

She’s a mom to twelve children. And we’re pretty sure any mom who can handle THAT many kids and still be a successful writer is a total trooper.

Maria Portokalos: My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Even though Nia’s family fears she is making a huge mistake when she falls in love with a non-Greek guy, her mother stands by her side. Of course we can’t forget the amazing cook she is on top of that!

Which movie mom would you like most to have? Blog about it, babes.
