The Sing-Off: Best of Season 2


With over 9 million views, Season 2 of NBC’s The Sing Off was the show to watch at the end of 2010. Ten vocal groups competed against one another for a record deal and a $100,000 prize. Nice, huh?
Committed, a group from Huntsville, AL won for their ah-mazing voices, but they definitely weren’t the only ones with talent! The show’s album highlighting songs from Season 2 just hit shelves Feb. 8 and we can’t stop listening to it.
The first track is a combination of all the contestants in their own rendition of U2’s “Beautiful Day.” With smooth vocals and excellent harmony, you’ll have a tough time deciding which version you like best.
Also on the 11-track album? A female take on Justin Bieber’s “Baby” and we definitely like the feminine sound! Other covers include: Rihanna’s “Take A Bow”, Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad,” and Mike Posner’s “Cooler Than Me.”
Even if you didn’t see the show, you’ll love the new sound these groups bring to some of the decade’s most popular tunes.
