Happy Pride month, everyone!

Instagram just kicked off the Pride celebration in the sweetest way: They surprised five LGBTQ+ activists with their Instagram role models—and the vids of the moments are completely adorable. 

Corey Maison was caught talking about how important Ryan Stalvey is to her and how she wants to be just as inspiring as him. Just then, Ryan walks into the room! Watch the super cute interaction below.

 

To kick off #Pride2018 @instagram asked me who my #RoleModel is. The first person that I thought of was @st0rmryan. He always speaks the truth, he goes out of his way to make others smile, he is a fierce advocate for the LGBTQ community, and he inspires me every.single.day💯 Him suprising me in real life was a dream come true! I was shaking and crying hahaha! I can only hope to be as inspiring to other trans kids as Ryan is to me ❤🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 @glaad Who is your #RoleModel?

In the end, Ryan mentions that Corey was a big reason that his mom came around to accepting him. Are you tearing up yet? 'Cause we sure are!

Instagram also paired up Alok Vaid Menon and Sasha Velour, Blair Imani and Bethany C. Myers, Adam Eli and Hanne Gaby Odiele and Pidgeon Pagonis and Johanna Toruño (click through these names for more #Pride2018 feels).

In addition to those awesome videos, Instagram also rolled out new features just in time for Pride! Next time you snap a pic for the 'gram, add an LGBTQ+ hashtag and watch as it is magically morphs to match the Pride flag (rainbow, ofc). You can also post a text Story with a rainbow background.

Special changes have also been made to Live: You can share rainbow hearts on live video and if you hold down the like button, it will shower the live streamer with rainbow hearts!
