If you're like us here at GLHQ, Girl Scout Cookies always make you want to celebrate. But this weekend, the party is going national—it's officially Cookie Weekend!

From February 26-28, #cookiebosses across the country will be honored for everything from their incredible contributions to their communities (like buying a bulletproof vest for a female police officer using cookie revenue) to the amazing business skills they've acquired through cookie sales, like goal setting, decision making and money management.

We *love* that the Girl Scouts are doing so much to empower girls across the country—and that means ALL girls. Recently, the Archdiocese of St Louis denounced the organization for supporting gay and transgender rights, encouraging Catholics to think twice about buying the classic cookies. But the Girl Scouts have refused to step back or apologize, with a spokesperson stating that "Building girls' leadership skills is a non-political, non-partisan agenda." 

The best part? All of that good work is seriously delicious. While we're obviously still obsessed with our fave standards (Thin Mints and Samoas, anyone?), we're also super excited to chow down on the reintroduced gluten-free options, Toffee-tastic and Trios. Yum!
