Texas HS football player gives the cutest promposal to his special needs friend

Dreams really do come true––Tiffany Gay, a special needs student with PWS (Prader Willis Syndrome) learned this during what she thought was just a normal day.

Instead of going out for what she believed to be a routine drill, she walked outside to find her classmate (and friend since middle school), Luis Velasquez standing behind her friends, holding a bouquet of roses, waiting for a chance to ask her to prom.

“Since meeting my son in the 7th grade, Tiffany has had a crush on my son,” Velasquez’s’ mom, Jessica told ABC News. “And since the beginning of this year, Luis has said he’s taking Tiffany to prom.”

Luis decided he would ask Tiffany to prom so she would feel like a princess for one night. That's when he decided to ask her grandparents for permission––and even got the school principal to get in on it.

The prom invite was super sweet and shows students holding signs asking “Yes Prom?” while Luis is stands by holding roses (awww).
