Crucial update: Chocolate just got (kinda) good for you
Amazing news, chocolate loving ladies: your fave candy bars are about to be a whole lot healthier. By the end of 2015, the Nestle brand (makers of Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, and more) has vowed to get rid of all unnatural ingredients in its US-made chocolate, promising all-natural cocoa deliciousness. Yum.
The brand said that Americans are moving more and more toward totally natural foods, so it only made sense to get rid of nasty additives like Red 40 and caramel coloring. The company will still offer all of its fan favorites (thank goodness), but with the new recipes, chocolate lovers can feel a little less guilty about chowing down on a Crunch bar. Now that is sweet.
