5 reasons not to share your passwords
1. You’re not instilling trust. Is there really trust between you if he’s going into your FB messages to make sure everything you said you said to your hot lab partner online is 100-percent chem-class related?
2. It encourages cyberstalking. Sure, looking up your crush’s favorite bands is a given these days. But checking up on every email your BF sends—even if it’s just the idea that you could—isn’t healthy, it’s obsessive.
3. What if he’s not careful? Maybe he wrote them down and left them laying on his desk…and his goofball friends found them? Hello, hacked Twitter account.
4. What about privacy? You have a right to it, you know.
5. I know you don’t wanna think about this one, but what if you break up? Then he’s got the passwords to your account and he could post some very malicious things before you remember that he’s got insider access to basically your whole digital life.
Do you share your passwords with friends or boyfriends? Why (or why not)?
