Lily Anderson sings an inspiring anthem
How many times has the “Star Spangled Banner” been sung?
Countless. How many standing ovations have been giving? A ton. How many will be
remembered like this one? None.
Ten year-old Lily Anderson has been fighting cancer since 2009. That is one reason why her “Star Spangled Banner” performance at a recent Atlanta Braves home baseball left many audience members in tears.
Take a look for yourself. You’ll definitely get chills…
According to yahoo.com, Lily was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. It is a cancer of the nervous system and only occurs in infants and children.
She was chosen to sing the anthem as part of Rally Night, an
attempt to raise money for cancer research. Through her rounds of chemotherapy
and surgery, Lily has remained optimistic and inspiring. For more details on
her fight against cancer, check out PrayforLilyAnderson.com.
