Fewer teens to have summer jobs this year
If you’ve got your heart set on lifeguarding or scooping ice
cream this summer, your chances might be slowly sinking. NBC News in Chicago reported that the Chicago Urban League found that
as few as 25 percent of 16 to 19 year olds were likely to be employed this
summer.
Our response? Ouch. Sure, your wallets might be feeling the pinch, but the findings of one report certainly don’t mean you have to be hurtin’ for cash all summer long. If ya wanna be rollin’ in the dough, then it’s time to get creative, chicas.
