Chomping Chocolate? Check Your Mood
Who doesn’t love a yummy bite of chocolate every so often? A recent study, though, showed the darker side of the sweet treat.
Boston.com reported people who are depressed eat wayyy more chocolate than their peers who are feelin’ A-OK. Researchers aren’t exactly sure if depression makes folks crave chocolate or if peeps reach for goodies more to boost their mood.
So if you find yourself hitting the candy bowl lots? Think about if your sweet tooth is actin’ up or if you’re experiencing some bigger probs. Seek out guidance from a trusted adult or school counselor.
