EXCLUSIVE! Meet the Bradley sisters, the teen actresses who are total sibling goals

If there's one thing Alex, Aubin and Catherine Bradley know, it's how to balance a busy life. The three teenage sisters have been performing since they were tiny...all while going to in-person school, playing sports and balancing regular teen girl social lives, NBD.

Catherine and Aubin star together as onscreen sisters Luan and Lucy Loud on Nickelodeon's hit series The Really Loud House, while Alex just played the leading role in the heartwarming (and heartbreaking!) film The Greatest Ever on Amazon Prime Video. We're def in awe of how they manage to pack it all in—and how they stay so close, even in the spotlight.

When we sat down with the trio to chat, they spilled on their recent premieres, their secrets to success and their super strong fam bond. All the fast facts you've ever wanted to know about the Bradleys, right this way...

1. They have their line-learning game down.

Alex: I feel like you have to read your lines over days in advance. At least, that's how it works for me. And I like going through it in my head, and that morning I wake up and I just know it.

Catherine: We all have pretty good memories because we've been doing this for a long while. For The Really Loud House, we get a new script every morning, so you can either memorize it the night before or—my personal favorite— get the script in the morning and memorize it while getting hair and makeup done.

Aubin: That's what I do.

Catherine: So I would not recommend trying that one when you're fresh and staring out. But that's what we ended up doing in the later seasons.

2. They're pros at portraying characters realistically.

Aubin: When we went to see Alex in the premiere for The Greatest Ever, I actually cried because her character goes through a really traumatic experience, and actually watching it on a big cinema screen was overwhelming for me. It really did feel real, and she is such an amazing actor—

Catherine: Everyone in the theater cried when she was in a hospital at the end, and everyone was crying because we were like, "Alex, no!"

Alex: I feel like you have to put yourself in your character's shoes. Imagine what they're going through and think of that happening to you.

Catherine: You really have to believe in your core that stuff in the script is happening to you.

3. Catherine and Aubin have so much fun as sisters on-screen and IRL.

Aubin: I genuinely love working with her cause it's like always having somebody you can go to for advice. It's an extra level of support. Every night we'd go through the scripts together and make sure we were prepared for the next day. I was never alone even though we were so far away from home—I had a piece of home with me.

Catherine: Aww! It's fun. We're gonna get older and we're gonna have kids and we're gonna know each other forever and maybe we'll think back to when we were teenagers on a TV show together.

4. Meanwhile, a project with all three sisters is probs on the horizon.

Catherine: We've acted together in theater shows, we've danced together. When we did competitions, our mom always made us do a trio every year and it was so funny. I think our dynamic is really fun together because we're very different people, but it works. I definitely think we'll do something together soon.

5. They've been spending the summer like normal kids.

Catherine: One thing about us is that we are an entertainment family, but we go to school in person. None of us have ever been homeschooled. We all do sports, dance, hang out with our friends. Right now we're all going to the beach. We're completely normal kids who just do acting as our 'thing". We've been going to dinner, seeing our friends, going to the beach. And a lot of SAT prep for me!

6. But living a Hannah Montana-style double life isn't always easy.

Catherine: Alex filmed her movie in the summer, but me and Aubin film whenever they need us. And we don't live in L.A., we live in New Jersey. So we fly to Albuquerque, which is where we film, in New Mexico. I had 375 missed classes from school this year. We get completely pulled out of our lives, fly to this set, do our job, and then fly back. It is really like Hannah Montana, because we say we have this whole set life, our whole family there, and then we come home.

Aubin: I love doing it because acting's my passion, but I think it's really important for actors to be well-rounded, because when you have a normal life and you're social and you play sports, it helps you a lot in your acting because it's genuine. When you're playing a character, it makes it feel more real because you have a lot to relate to about them.

7. They have great advice for acting (and life in general!).

Aubin: When you're first getting into the industry, there's so much rejection. You have to be determined and really passionate about what you want to do because it is competitive, especially at a young age. It's hard. Know that getting rejected is just a part of it, and that honestly helps you become a better actor because you learn a lot.

Alex: Yeah, I agree with Aubin. I feel like rejection is a big part of the industry. You get a hundred "no"'s for one "yes". It's obviously very frustrating at times, but it's also awesome at the end when you finally get that role.

Catherine: My mom always says everything that's meant to be is meant to be. If you don't get a role, then it wasn't meant for you and something else is gonna come your way. And to go far in life, you're gonna want to stand out. You're gonna want to be that independent person who doesn't blend in, that person who has that fire, that drive, that something that's special about them.
