What's the story with "Moral of the Story" featuring Niall Horan?
Last week, Ashe's single "Moral of the Story" got an awesome new revamp with new lyrics and vocals from the former 1D icon Niall Horan.
Ever since Ashlyn Rae Wilson dropped the OG version of 'Moral of the Story' on Valentine's Day 2019 we've been in love, but Niall's contributions bring a whole new element of emotion to the song.
After going through a messy and painful divorce, Ashlyn Rae Wilson, a.k.a. Ashe, wrote "Moral of the Story" to express how she was feeling about the break-up. With a small lyrical contribution from Billie Eilish and produced by FINNEAS, "Moral of the Story" was released on February 14, 2019. The song quickly gained popularity after being featured in one of our favorite teen romance movies, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.
A year later, Ashe reached out to Niall Horan and he agreed to collaborate on a new recording of the song.
According to Niall's Insta post, the two had a blast working together virtually despite being on different continents.
Ashe and Niall connected over Instagram Live to celebrate the release of the song—take a look, because these two are super cute when they are goofing off together.
We can't wait for more music from Niall and Ashe to come, but for now, you can stream "Moral of the Story" on all your favorite platforms or download on iTunes.
