This K.C. Undercover's star gets real about tonight's finale

One of our fave Disney Channel shows, K.C. Undercover, is about to air its final episode and we are so 😥 😥 😥 about it.

The hit spy show—which stars Zendaya and Veronica Dunne—kicked off in 2015 and when it ends tonight, it will have had three amazingly hilarious seasons.

We sat down to chat with Australian-American actress, singer and dancer Kirrilee Berger—she plays Amy Bishop on the showall about her thoughts on the show ending, her tight bond with co-star Zendaya and what she hopes to accomplish after K.C..

Girls' Life: The final ep of K.C. airs tonight! Are you sad to see the show come to an end?
Kirrilee Berger: It’s so bittersweet to see the show ending! It was such a fun show with not only a great message, but a great cast. They’re all such talented and genuine people and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

GL: What was it like working with Zendaya? Did she share any career advice or life advice with you?
KB: Zendaya is a dream to work with! She’s so kind, funny, humble and professional. We were often in stitches looking at funny Snapchat filters and silly videos on breaks. But she also taught me a huge lesson. We all, of course want to do our best at work but we can’t always be perfect.

I remember filming one scene which was very physically demanding and I couldn’t quite perfect this one move. She stopped me. Reminded me to just breathe and that we’d do it again. She taught me that we’re human! And humans aren’t perfect. Not only is she an amazing actress, but she’s a wonderful friend, too.

GL: What projects do you have coming up post-K.C.?
KB:
I have The ‘Who Was?’ Show coming soon to Netflix, Butterbean’s Café for Nick Jr. and a few other projects you’ll have to stay tuned on social media to find out about!

GL: How old were you when you realized performing was your passion?
KB: When I was 2-years-old, I was at my annual check up and my doctor couldn’t get me to speak so instead, I stood up on the change table and belted out “Tomorrow” from Annie. From then on, singing, dancing and acting was all I wanted to do!

Say goodbye to K.C. Undercover with an hour long episode tonight, Friday, Feb. 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
