Giving back to others through shopping? Win-win right? With Headbands of Hope you can do just that. For every item sold, a headband is donated to a child with an illness. Here's the heart-warming story behind Headbands of Hope—and some of the cutest stuff they have to offer.
How Headbands of Hope came to be

The spark for Headbands of Hope was ignited in a truly magical place: Disney World! While interning at the Magical Kingdom in college, founder Jess Ekstrom had the opportunity to photograph children enduring cancer battles. As she noticed countless kids rocking headbands during chemotherapy and hair loss, Jess was inspired to create Headbands of Hope—a way to spread positivity and support during tough times.
Fast forward to today, and their headbands are sold in thousands of stores across the globe. Headbands of Hope has donated to every children's hospital in the U.S.,plus more than 15 countries around the world. When the brand first started, each headband purchased meant one was donated to a child battling cancer. Today, they’ve expanded their reach to *all* children facing illness.
By Design

To date, Headbands of Hope has surpassed one million purchases, which has allowed the brand to contribute to major things, like the cost of medical care.By shopping Headbands of Hope, you can do *your* part to support such an important cause, too. While you may not have a ton of money to donate, by simply purchasing a cute accessory or t-shirt, you'll do your part to bring light into the world of those who are going through a very dark time.
