This year's fall fashion vibe? All things Western-ified

Back-to-school fashion is all about unbridled enthusiasm (get it?) for all things Western-ified. Embroidered boots, fringe on everything, Stetsons, heck, even a bolo tie: The vibe is Yellowstone, babes, and it's good. Balance the look with sweet florals, pretty tulle or touches of glam for a look that's more hoco than horse care, OK? Ride 'em, cowgirl.

Horse Girl Aesthetic

Dress, $225, House of CB London. Bodysuit, $20, Forever 21. Boots, $220, Corral Boots. Earrings, $20, Berricle. Bolo, $28, Staghound.

A puff-sleeve dusty yellow floral dress is already pioneer-girl-coded, so take it all the way with a pair of two-tone Western boots and a bolo tie necklace. It's giving damsel, no distress.

West World

Vest, $30, Outdoor. Shirt, $162, and skirt, $80, JMP The Label. Tank, $8, H&M. Boots, $495, Staud. Hat, $43, Rylee + Cru. Necklace, $34, Berricle. Gloves, $15, Asos. Earrings, model's own.

This set is all about contrasts—cozy texture meets sleek leather. Studded fingerless gloves and black over-the-knee boots offer a little edge, but the blanket vest takes it right back home (on the range).

Not Your First Rodeo

Jacket, $80, Stoosh Premium. Top, $144, Dominique Calvillo. Skirt, $69, Artizia. Boots, $180, Steve Madden. Earrings, $64, Sterling Forever.

Those. Red. Boots. There's no taming these babies, but a floral skirt and a statement leather jacket will definitely earn you perfect 10s all around.

Prairie Princess

Jacket, $60, Stoosh. Dress, $350, vintage Randi Rahm. Earrings, $13, Claire's. Bracelet, $55, Banana Republic. Ring, $52, Sterling Forever. Hat, $30, World Market.

A beaded paisley halter-neck gown is the definition of country-fied glam. A metallic biker jacket makes it homecoming-worthy, but the wide-brim hat and turquoise bracelet nod to your roots on the ranch.

Cowgirl Core

Top, $20, Verdusa. Pants, $45, Forever 21. Mules, $140, Thursday Boot Company. Hat, $75, JMP The Label. Earrings, $24, Berricle. Bangles, $65, J.Crew. Purse, $30, Montana West.

Dashing from the stables to the dance floor? Break out the flares and polish up your pointy-toe mules. A pile of fringe (and a little cowgirl cool factor) are perfect for wherever you may be two-stepping: barn or elsewhere.

West by Southwest

Poncho, $60, PacSun. Crochet top, $199, Dominique Calvillo. Bodysuit, $30, Forever 21. Boots, $135, Old West. Herringbone necklace, $80, and chain necklace, $86, Sterling Forever. Choker, $12, Berricle.

Corral some New Mexico vibes with a woven poncho and macrame crop top. An earth-tone bodysuit and dust-kicking boots? Ideal for flooring it through the fences.

Heigh-ho Silver

Vest, $100, Akira. Top, $35, H&M. Skirt, $228, Kate Hewko. Boots, $350, Horsag. Hat, $90, JMP The Label. Earrings, $46, Revolve. Bracelet, $48, Free People.

The key to making the tulle skirt trend look cool, not costumey? A cropped denim vest strung with silver fringe plus your boldest boots. (Oh yeah, and a whole lotta attitude.)
