Ed. Obsession under $20: Beach cover-ups


I love beach season so much that I could live in my swimsuit. Well, I practically did one summer when I was five. My family has the palm-to-face pictures to prove it. And without fail, they bring up that mortifying fashion faux pas whenever I buy a new swimsuit. Thanks for the reminder, Mom. That’s why I only wear swimwear near water—no matter how cute it is.
 
The same rule applies en route to the beach or pool. Sure, you can hit the snack bar or boardwalk to show off your ultra fab bikini. But if you’d rather suit up at home than change at the pool’s bathroom (ew) or eat at a restaurant with a dress code, that’s where throwing on a no-fuss beach cover-up comes into play.
